"Prayers are PowerfuL!"

God is so good and He reminds me all the time that HE can handle anything and everything!
My hubby had to go in for a routine test this morning and you know how your "worry button" can get turned on!  LOL!!  God gently reminded me that He has all the bases covered...I just need to trust Him. I did and his tests came back great!

God doesn't want us to worry, He wants us to pray about every and all things in our life.
Right now I am praying for my precious friend of many years, Babs.  She had to be rushed to the hospital yesterday for a GI infection that became very serious. We all love Babs...she is the type person that you just love to be around...so sweet and caring! My heart truly hurts for her and her husband Bill and the kids. I have put her in my Father's arms for Him to care and for Him to heal her...we shouldn't worry because He has that covered and our Heavenly Father always knows what is best for his children. My part is to pray...

I love this verse straight out of God's beautiful Word. I posted in on my FaceBook Wall and the You*Go*Go*GirL! Wall today. I also love studying the different translations of a verse:
The Message Translation:
16-18Make this your common practice: Confess your sins to each other and pray for each other so that you can live together whole and healed. The prayer of a person living right with God is something powerful to be reckoned with. Elijah, for instance, human just like us, prayed hard that it wouldn't rain, and it didn't—not a drop for three and a half years. Then he prayed that it would rain, and it did. The showers came and everything started growing again.

NIV Translation:
16 Therefore confess your sins to each other and pray for each other so that you may be healed. The prayer of a righteous person is powerful and effective.

NLT Translation:
16 Confess your sins to each other and pray for each other so that you may be healed. The earnest prayer of a righteous person has great power and produces wonderful results.

Remember to pray for a friend today. Prayer is powerful and so much more fruitful than worry!
You*Go*Go*Girlz!! :)
