Luv this by Dr. Charles Stanley...thought I'd share with you!
Luke 2:1-20
The first Christmas I remember was when I was three years old. My aunts and uncles came to visit, and when they opened the trunk of the car, I discovered that it was full of presents—and all of them were for me! I’m sure you, too, can recall memories from past Christmases, whether good or bad. There’s just something about th...at day that sticks in our minds.

You can be sure that all of the people who experienced the first Christmas never forgot it. Joseph remembered the weight of responsibility on his shoulders as he cared for Mary during their journey and searched for a place where she could give birth. And we can imagine that the shepherds often replayed in their minds the scene of glorious angels and the sight of the newborn Messiah. But Scripture mentions only one who “treasured all these things, pondering them in her heart” (v. 19). Mary had carried this baby in her womb for nine months, but now she saw what no one else had ever seen—the face of God!

What was it like to see deity displayed in the body of a newborn baby? Though we can never see what Mary saw, we can each remember when we first recognized our Savior—the moment we realized He died for us.

This Christmas, take time to remember when you first met Jesus. What was going on in your life? How did you feel after accepting His offer of forgiveness? How has your life changed since that day? Now imagine what it will be like when you finally see Him face to face in heaven. ~ Dr. Charles Stanley
Girlz...If you don't know Jesus...He was the most kind and caring man that ever walked the earth...all you need to do is ask Him into your heart and confess your sins...it's between you and Him. Your life will begin to change and as you follow Him you will become more like Him and his gentle loving ways...you will be making the world a better place for all of us including yourself. :) "Merry Christmas Everyone!"

"Simply...Writings and the Heart"

"My aim is to put down on paper what I see and what I feel in the best and simplest way."~Ernest Hemingway
Hmmmm..."My aim is to put down on paper and FaceBook what I see and feel in a "positively simple" way to encourage others!"~CMay :) You can see a person's heart through their writings...happy, sad, hurt, angry...I choose to see... the positive even though sometimes it may be hard. During those times...I choose to press on and encourage others...it then encourages me! :) Simply said...to encourage others take a lot of less energy and it feels good...simple!
Let no unwholesome word proceed from your mouth, but only such a word as is good for edification according to the need of the moment, that it may give grace to those who hear.~Ephesians 4:29

"PUT THE PEDAL TO THE METAL!"

"Put the Pedal to the MetaL"
That's the key...once God gives you an idea, dream or vision to do something then it's time to step out and get to action! Keep pressing forward and don't give up just because it seems like your project is going nowhere! This is right where He is teaching you the "trust" part! This ...is where you need to "have faith" and keep following His lead! :) But, you do have to get up and get into action, work hard, keep going! When you don't keep going and give up, you are showing you don't trust Him. ♥ For me...today is going to be a full work day...I'm pressing on Girlz and following Him! I can't wait to see what God is going to do in the next 6 months!! Come on Girlz...don't give up...let's work hard, trust Him and follow His lead!! ♥ You*Go*Go*Girlz!!

"JUST LAUGH!"

Thought we'd be a little light-hearted today...if you have something funny that has happened to you, have a cute joke or a verse that really makes you think...then laugh...post it Girlz!  We all need a laugh or two for sure! ♥  I'm posting a little about how laughing works positively on your body along with some quotes and verses. Have a hilariously fun day! <3
* Laughing releases endorphins, which are a natural pain killer that stimulate the lymphatic system, boots the immune system and reduces the levels of stress by 50% in just minutes!!!!
* A glad heart makes a cheerful face, but by sorrow of heart the spirit is crushed.~Proverbs 15:13
* Laughing lowers blood pressure even though your blood pressure increases while you are laughing!! ♥ It works your diaphragm and other muscles and provides a kind of physical workout that creates healthy blood pressure! ♥ Laugh on girlz!! ♥
* A good side-splitting laugh actually burns calories!!!
They say it's equal to an aerobic exercise workout. What?!?!
Frequent laughter "tones the tummy"!! Get to laughin' Girlz!!! LOL!!!
* True...but funny!

"JUST RELAX YALL!"

"Just Relax!"
Wow! God's word says a lot about just relaxing in Him...Just BE...don't try so hard to MAKE things happen!  That hit the nail on the head with us! The jest of Matthew 6:31-40 from The Message Translation is: "Don't be sooooooo occupied with GETTING that you can't respond to God's GIVING!" ~ Matthew 6:31-40
Rusty (my hubby) was reading The Message Translation of this verse this morning as we were sipping our favorite Coffee City USA coffee on the swing (1st day in a long time that the temp. was perfect for sitting outside that early in the morn...which was fab!) and he shared this verse with me:
30-33"If God gives such attention to the appearance of wildflowers—most of which are never even seen—don't you think he'll attend to you, take pride in you, do his best for you? What I'm trying to do here is to get you to relax, to not be so preoccupied with getting, so you can respond to God's giving. People who don't know God and the way he works fuss over these things, but you know both God and how he works. Steep your life in God-reality, God-initiative, God-provisions. Don't worry about missing out. You'll find all your everyday human concerns will be met.

34"Give your entire attention to what God is doing right now, and don't get worked up about what may or may not happen tomorrow. God will help you deal with whatever hard things come up when the time comes.

Sometimes, we want things right now and we don't want to wait!  That sure puts a lot of stress on our lives and means that we are not trusting God, the one who created us and loves us more than you can imagine.  It's hard to relax and not want to keep all of the ping-pong balls under the water.  But, yes you can...just put everything into His big hands and trust Him, have faith as He knows what is best for us and when it is best.

God "WANTS" to give you the desires of your heart...let Him give...He loves GIVING!!

You*Go*Go*Girlz!!!

God, we truly give YOU the glory in all things you do AND for what you are about to do in our lives!   Amen

"Prayers are PowerfuL!"

God is so good and He reminds me all the time that HE can handle anything and everything!
My hubby had to go in for a routine test this morning and you know how your "worry button" can get turned on!  LOL!!  God gently reminded me that He has all the bases covered...I just need to trust Him. I did and his tests came back great!

God doesn't want us to worry, He wants us to pray about every and all things in our life.
Right now I am praying for my precious friend of many years, Babs.  She had to be rushed to the hospital yesterday for a GI infection that became very serious. We all love Babs...she is the type person that you just love to be around...so sweet and caring! My heart truly hurts for her and her husband Bill and the kids. I have put her in my Father's arms for Him to care and for Him to heal her...we shouldn't worry because He has that covered and our Heavenly Father always knows what is best for his children. My part is to pray...

I love this verse straight out of God's beautiful Word. I posted in on my FaceBook Wall and the You*Go*Go*GirL! Wall today. I also love studying the different translations of a verse:
The Message Translation:
16-18Make this your common practice: Confess your sins to each other and pray for each other so that you can live together whole and healed. The prayer of a person living right with God is something powerful to be reckoned with. Elijah, for instance, human just like us, prayed hard that it wouldn't rain, and it didn't—not a drop for three and a half years. Then he prayed that it would rain, and it did. The showers came and everything started growing again.

NIV Translation:
16 Therefore confess your sins to each other and pray for each other so that you may be healed. The prayer of a righteous person is powerful and effective.

NLT Translation:
16 Confess your sins to each other and pray for each other so that you may be healed. The earnest prayer of a righteous person has great power and produces wonderful results.

Remember to pray for a friend today. Prayer is powerful and so much more fruitful than worry!
You*Go*Go*Girlz!! :)

"Brighten Someone's Day!"

Brighten someone's day with how God brought you through something...this is encouragement for others! ♥ You don't have to wait for someone to ask for your testimony, you don't have to be on a stage or make it a special event or write it down...speak about what God has done in your life just in the everyday conversations...just living......let your testimony happen naturally in the people or just that "one" person that God may bring into your life at that moment, that way you are sharing your true heart with precious emotions...no nervousness there! Been there done that...Lord help me to learn from your walk, as I'm learning every single day. It's so much easier and less stressful doing it your way instead of man's complicated way! Shine your lights girlz...just live in the moment...be yourself...relax...don't make life so complicated and stressful for yourselves...reach out to a friend today...share your heart and give her hope...you may just change her life... ♥ ~ CMay

"REACH OUT TO THOSE IN NEED"

♥ Find in your heart today to help someone in need...pray for and donate to the relief efforts in Haiti...keep these people and others you know in need on your heart and in your prayers... . . . and if you spend yourselves in behalf of the hungry and satisfy the needs of the oppressed, then your light will rise in the... darkness, and your night will become like the noonday. "FIND THE TIME...YOU CAN DO IT...YOUGOGOGIRL!"

You will never "find" time for anything. If you want time, you must make it.
Often times we hear ourselves suggest that we need to "find" time to get together with old friends, to get into shape or to do something you have been putting off for a long time. Make a commitment to yourself today that this week you will "make" the time. While you're at it, make it pleasing to God. from TTDevos...
May the God of peace, who through the blood of the eternal covenant brought back from the dead our Lord Jesus, that great Shepherd of the sheep, equip you with everything good for doing his will, and may he work in us what is pleasing to him, through Jesus Christ, to whom be glory for ever and ever. Amen.  Hebrews 13:20

You Can Make Today & Tomorrow Better...YOUGOGOGIRL!"

"Every day do something that will bring you closer to a better tomorrow."
It does not matter if you are taking baby steps as long as you are moving forward. Ask God to provide you with the willpower and discipline to find a small way to improve yourself today. PRAY about it and do it again tomorrow and the next day and the next...you can do it...YOUGOGOGIRL!
Since we live by the Spirit, let us keep in step with the Spirit.  Galatians 5:25

Monday, January 11, 2010

Make a commitment to spend at least five extra minutes today making people around you feel good.      By warming the hearts of those around you, you can create a flame that will quickly spread.

"THINK POSITIVE!"

A man is but the product of his thoughts. What he thinks, he becomes.  That's why we need to think positive!

Think About God. He thinks about you every second because He created YOU and loves you so very much!
He wants you to KNOW that He loves you and that He created you to help others in this life journey back to Him.

You are an amazing creation and have such potential in everything and in every situation.  Believe in your God-given gifts and then act on them.  First, find what you are good at, or something for the good of others that you can do.  Don't store them inside...believe in your heart that God gave you these gifts to share with others and then ACT on it. Just think if every one of us would share their God-given gifts...Wow...what a world this would be!

Remember..."ministry" is not just reserved for the "church building"...ministry is what you share with others for the good of the world!  It's what you do and how you do it...anything positive and good that glorifies the Lord.  You don't have to have a title of some big program to have a ministry...your ministry is in your heart girls, so let's share it with others and make this world a better place!

You are an amazing woman...think of something YOU have to share with others to impact this world for the Lord.
Search and study His word and you'll find blessings and gifts you never knew you had!
You will eat the fruit of your labor; blessings and prosperity will be yours.  Psalm 128:2

See you tomorrow!
